I may have been crazy to make flight reservations to Minnesota in mid-November, but I could not believe the price I got on the tickets. For less than $130, I can fly from Phoenix to Minneapolis round trip, so I thought it would be fun to go visit my relatives. I do hope the weather is OK. When I heard about the disounted online reservations, I made the flight reservations well ahead of time. I am going to visit my cousin, specifically. He has big farm and I can't wait to sit down at the table with them and eat home grown food that they have frozen. I've already put my request in for meals that include a lot of home grown tomato sauce, home grown peas, free range chicken and beef, and fresh fruit they harvest in the woods like raspberries and blueberries. They grow almost all their own food, and three or four times a week my cousin emails me about the delicious meals they eat from the garden or the freezer. In spite of the weather, it should be a culinary feast, and now that I think about it, those flight reservations were smart to make.
