There is nothing I relish more than getting away for a few days and holing up in a room for the evening. Some people like to go out and see the town at night, but I love that sheltering feeling I get from staying in a nice hotel room that has everything I need and I don't have to set foot outside until the next day. I find that I like the anonymity that staying in hotels gives me. Of course, I always make online hotel reservations, but if I'm not sure my room will have the microwave or refrigerator I want, I always call them directly to make sure they do. When I make the room reservations, I also make sure that they have a DVD player in the room and DVDs available for the hotel guests to make my running away from home completely enjoyable.
