room reservations

My husband has never been incredibly romantic, so when we went out of town and stayed in a hotel, I did not have any expectations other than a bathroom and bed. Imagine my surprise when I was swept away to the most lovely hotel I had ever stayed at, and even more so, the most romantic hotel room I had ever seen. My husband had made special romantic room reservations as a surprise for me!

I loved that he made the room reservations in the first place and I had never wished for or expected anything more. There were rose petals and flowers, champagne and a bubble bath. I have never felt more pampered and romantic in all of my life. I would have never imagined that my husband was capable of doing something so wonderfully romantic, let alone make room reservations without my help. It just goes to show that you should never assume that you have someone completely figured out. What a wonderful surprise and even more so, what a wonderful husband. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!
