When one of my dear friends asked me to be in her wedding, I was overjoyed. She and I have been friends for over ten years and I was excited to be able to spend her happy day with her. The wedding was out of state so she wanted to keep the wedding party small.  She was not sure how everyone was going to be able to stay in the same place, but I told her not to worry about it; I was going to make room reservations for the entire wedding party.

I knew that making room reservations online would be simple, because I had done it for a few of my own trips. I pulled up a few hotels that were accepting room reservations for the weekend she wanted and asked her which she preferred. She chose one that was very close to the beach she was to be married at.

The weekend of her wedding, the entire party arrived at the hotel. We told the attendant of our room reservations and were escorted to our rooms. The bridal party was on one side of the hallway, while the groomsmen were on the other. Our room reservations made it easy to get everyone together in one place and the wedding went off without a hitch. My friend was so relieved at the convenience of our room reservations and I was happy to be able to help her on her wedding day.
