This weekend the heat is oppressive, so I'm making airline ticket reservations to get out of Dodge until this heat wave passes. I called my friend who likes my dog, so I'll be bringing him to their house and going to the beaches of Southern California where the temperatures are at least 30 degrees colder than it is here. I think walking on the beach will sufficiently chill...
