My husband and I had decided that with the economy such as it is, we would not indulge ourselves with a winter vacation this year. However, as I was surfing online, I found some wonderful discount travel reservations. It has been an unusually cold winter this year and who could resist a winter getaway to someplace warm and cozy. This year even the usual warm whether places have been sort of cold so we planned for unusual circumstances. Our trip was so easy to plan online that I will never go any other way. We made all of our airline ticket reservations and room reservations in the last minute and so they were even cheaper than usual. We found a beautiful hotel with a fantastic indoor pool, just in case the whether did not co-operate. The trip was great and it is amazing how much better you feel after warming up from all the cold and snow of the winter. I just made flight reservations to go to Santa Fe this summer for a fun family vacation. We love Santa Fe, and although the nearest airport is almost 50 miles away, we still prefer it as our destination for our summer getaways. We have family who live there so we don't need a room reservations, but we do have to coordinate with our Santa Fe counterparts on scheduling our visits. Sometimes we drive because it's just a six hour drive, but it's just a one hour flight, so when we get great prices on airline ticket reservations, we opt to fly and rent a car to use in Santa Fe.

Our flight reservations for this trip were a good buy. In fact, when we consider our time, they are a great deal and we will be able to spend four days in this city with so much to see and do. Some of the food there is so delicious and the scenery is gorgeous. We usually spend one day hiking, another driving around the mountains, and eating out in the best restaurants at least once a day. Santa Fe is the place I want to be when the mercury in Phoenix heads to the top of the thermometer.

I lived in the northwest for a long time before moving back down to the southwest where I was raised. I am so excited that two of my good friends that I used to work with in the northwest are coming down to visit me next month. One thing that my friends and I always love to do is go on road trips. We always try to visit at least three different cities each year. I recently ventured to New York in order to visit the love of my life.

Winter is coming and it is getting cold and damp in our town. Every year around this time my husband and I start to plan a get away to somplace warm and relaxing. We look forward to our winter vacations and always start planning a year in advance. Part of the enjoyment of the vacation is the planning for it. There are so many ways that internet really makes everything that much easier these days! When it come time for me to book trips – like the last trip that my best friend and I took to Las Vegas – it’s all about online hotel reservations for me! I find that not only can I always get the best deals with online hotel reservations, because you can really shop around from website to website, but booking them is easier than ever to do as well! I can’t imagine having to call the hotel directly and make a reservation when online hotel reservations are so much easier and more fun to do! For the past week, I have been noticing how many radio, commercial and online ads are promoting travel to Sin City. Hotels and casinos are dying for business and to us, the consumer it means big savings on Las Vegas hotel reservations. Talk about a fun place to be for Halloween. I have never been there on October 31^st but can imagine how big they do it. So far Tempe, Az has been the best place for Halloween partying in my experience, outdoing Seattle and Hollywood but I think Vegas would take the cake. There are already enough freaks there to start a circus and on Halloween, that number probably multiplies by 100.

Room reservations on the strip are going for under a 100 dollars a night in most places even on same day arrivals. A couple buddies got back from their a few weeks ago and didn’t spend more then 85 dollars a night. Split that between a few people plus the casino perks and there is no cheaper place to blow off some steam. Not to mention no better place to blow off adult stress. Past Halloween, Las Vegas hotel reservations over the weekend would be perfect to catch NFL action. That is what I’m all about. Where else are room reservations so cheap for luxury resorts?

October is upon us and before we know it, Halloween will be here. We want to go to Minnesota for Christmas and New Years this year and are looking for discount travel reservations. Most of the time there are no discount travel reservations over the holidays, but we have our fingers crossed. Even if we can't get reservations at rock bottom prices, a small discount would help. We are going to be spending part of our time with family members which will save a lot of money on hotels and meals, but we want to venture into northern Minnesota and stay at a ski resort so we can do some cross country skiing. Hopefully there will be enough snow. We live in the southwest and gave up our beloved skiing when we moved here because the snow is rarely dry enough to enjoy the great cross country skiing that people in Minnesota enjoy. When I travel to get away from everything, I make sure that I make room reservations at a hotel that has a mini refrigerator and a microwave in it. There is nothing I relish more than getting away for a few days and holing up in a room for the evening. Some people like to go out and see the town at night, but I love that sheltering feeling I get from staying in a nice hotel room that has everything I need and I don't have to set foot outside until the next day. I find that I like the anonymity that staying in hotels gives me. Of course, I always make online hotel reservations, but if I'm not sure my room will have the microwave or refrigerator I want, I always call them directly to make sure they do. When I make the room reservations, I also make sure that they have a DVD player in the room and DVDs available for the hotel guests to make my running away from home completely enjoyable.
